We Are in the Apocalypse Now – But Don’t Be Afraid!
So, we are in the apocalypse right now – but there’s no need to be afraid. Because honestly, the apocalypse gets a bad rap.
Welcome to the Apocalypse
Ragnarök, or the apocalypse is simply “a great revealing”. It is not the end of the world, but rather the “rebirth” of a new one. Or rather, the changing of the old guard to a new one, with a “new set of keys” as Askeladd from Vinland Saga would put it.
On March 10th, my house burned down. The exterior held, but the inside is completely uninhabitable, and it will all have to be rebuilt, starting over from scratch. It will be a rebirth for a property that has experienced more tragedy than you know.
My mom was home at the time, I was not. I went out to the grocery store. I was told she was unconscious when the Fire Department took her out of our home. She was in the hospital recuperating for a time but now, thankfully, she is fine. It is a miracle that despite a few minor burns, she is relatively unharmed and alright.
A few nights ago, I had a dream that I can’t quite remember the details of. That has been happening quite a lot lately, as I used to have very vivid dreams where I could remember every single detail. Anyway, I work up from this “conversation” with the names of 2 – 3 angels ringing in my head – one of them being an archangel.
Maybe it was a reminder of my purpose – my “earthly duty” for the contract I must have signed to be here. That contract being life – my life purpose or path in this realm. Because you see, we are all here for a reason – even the NPCs. Even if we can’t remember why, or try to run away from our duty – we all have something unique and different to do in this realm.
So maybe my part is to tell you that it’s real – angels, demons, The Most High and the primordial War in Heaven.
Fallen Angels and Supernatural Beings in Popular Media
I have found that media has often laid out in this timeline what is to occur, or rather what may have already been – but has yet to occur here, and now.
Shows like Supernatural and Solo Leveling for one, tell the truth of the upcoming final showdown between the Heavenly Host and the Legions of Evil here on earth.
The Heavenly Host needs vessels, as does the other side. Sam Winchester being a vessel for ultimately Lucifer after Azazel fed him demonic blood as a baby is one way these things have occurred.
In the beginning, there were many wars. Between powers primordial and the old gods – now nearly forgotten to time. But, one supreme power won out – a god of order, and law who created a paradise out of the chaos.
In a Japanese video game called Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, this being is referred to as the “God of Law”.
And then, these beings decided to create a race of humans – or “ye be gods” that would live and die like men, in their “own image” in one of many terrestrial paradises.
For although there were many gardens cultivating fruit, one very special in particular was of importance to the Most High god. When that garden was breeched, chaos broke out unto the earth. Although there were many worlds separated by the sea in this realm, I only know (for sure) about this ring in particular in our realm – although 6 other ice walls filled the lands and await exploration across the bounds.
The fallen angels were told by Enoch after their initial sin that they would “have no peace”. They are not allowed to look toward the heavens, or try to petition The Most High themselves. And according to the Book of Enoch, the cages and traps set for them in this eternity are already prepared for their predetermined demise – despite the fact that they still roam free to this day, until the predetermined time by The Most High when they will receive their punishment for corrupting humanity.
For it seems Azazel will suffer the cruelest (or most just) fate – seeing as he is named twice for his role in teaching early humanity how to injure and kill one another – or the ways of war.
Maybe that is why he remains as bannerman to Lucifer’s armies in The Sandman, while building a secret army of his own using his blood to create psychic-supernatural demonic army, or vessels for his side in the upcoming destined war.
Even Lilith, the first demon created by Lucifer has been extremely busy – allowing herself to be the final, 666th seal to bring about the apocalypse, forming the Qadistu to bring back Chaos (a primordial deity) back through the supernatural portal of Da’at to our realm in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Or hell, even being resurrected in Diablo 4 by way of a secret ritual and working with the angel Ignatius for a time.
Ignatius, who would use his own vessels from time to time – including Haytham Kenway to head the Order of the Knights Templar organization (precedent to the modern day Freemasons) to further his own agenda before having a change of heart – if the video games are to be believed.
We even have the angel Castiel playing a role here – as well as the Archangel Michael and his sister (most commonly being depicted as a man), Lucifer.
There are many forces here on this earth – some have come down to chosen vessels like in Supernatural, some were born naturally and remembered who they were like Anael – or “Ana” in Supernatural (like an earth angel), some are “star seeds”, “indigo children”, and some are demons and demon spawn.
Or we have cases like Jin Woo from Solo Leveling, who was ritualistically killed, reborn, and essentially tricked into fighting for the good side in the last Great War in Heaven by becoming a chosen vessel for an angel (Archon) that fell from grace, but still received god’s favor.
You will also have a lot of “avenging angels” at this time, or “Ghost Riders” – angels incarnated who will bestow heavenly justice, or divine wrath on evildoers in this world – and some may not even know why, like in the Kdrama A Killer Paradox where the angel simply “knew” someone had done wrong by their looks alone.
All of these beings will become more apparent during this time, as angels are simply “soldiers in war” to quote Castiel from Supernatural. There may be other creatures that show up as well. With the Aurora, or Northern Lights now creeping forward, the dragons – now referred to as “dinosaurs” may come back.
The Faeries (like in Maleficent), Trolls (like that Netflix movie Troll), the Leviathan (named Tiamat like in Your Name who could also be a stand-in for the Sea Dragon Leviathan from Subnautica) as well as Godzilla (like Godzilla vs Tiamat) amongst many others.
I think that’s all I’ll say for now, as I have other posts to write in the future at another time.
