The Trumps Are Toying With Cryptocurrency
“We are extremely proud of what we continue to accomplish in crypto. $TRUMP is currently the hottest digital meme on earth…”
This is what Donald Trump Jr tweeted out after his father, and his step-mother Melania Trump completely decimated any credibility the crypto market had with the biggest rug pull and presidential grift we’ve seen in recent time.

The Donald Trump Meme Coin Rug Pull
Before I could even have time to upload or even type my write-up on the $TRUMP Solana meme coin, Melania dropped her coin – taking all of $TRUMP’s momentum down 40% and setting off a chain of pump and dumps before crashing Solana’s blockchain.

Coinbase was reportedly holding up transfers from USDC to Solana, and networks like Jasper allegedly actually increased gas fees and Phantom allegedly took users missing Sol tokens with no purchase of the meme coin in sight.

This has been an absolute disaster.

Despite the Trump Coin releasing a road map to increase liquidity over the next 3 years – and despite having no real utility aside from being a commemorative digital meme (like an NFT – but worse) – the LLC (that was allegedly hastily created before the meme coin drop) owns 80% of the supply.
Users and prospective buyers reported not being able to sell Melania coin once it started to tank, as Solana had allegedly taken the button away.
Did I mention that per Usual Whales, the $MELANIA meme coin website was created the day before launch using Go Daddy of all hosting sites? And the link didn’t work at first to the exchange to purchase the coin – which required Solana coins to buy in, only.

Not to mention, one wallet owns 90% of the supply, which then changed to 89% of the supply – which is the definition of a rug pull, crypto Solana meme coin scam. (I’m sorry)
Trump’s World Liberty Financial’s Involvement
To make matters worse, Eric Trump had tweeted out to “wait until you see what they do tomorrow” in reference to the alleged Trump-tied World Liberty Financial crypto wallet moving around a bunch of Ethereum.

Trump’s World Liberty Financial’s ($WLFI) address has now purchased:
- Worldliberty.eth
- Trumpcoin.eth
- Erictrump.eth
- Barrontrump.eth
- Yatogame.eth
- 9290.eth
This is in addition to the $14,403 $ETH tokens that total about $48 million in USD. Not to mention, the $TRUMP meme coin alone has garnered Donald Trump a record $56.6 billion dollars and now accounts for 89% of his net worth.

Meaning, now that the Solana chain’s weakness has been exposed, the Trumps would now like to release World Liberty, Trump Coin, Erictrump coin, Barontrump coin, along with the others on the Ethereum blockchain – which is an even worse look than the Solana debacle.

Solana blockchain is known for meme coins and rug pulls – nothing of real value is placed there and it’s called “the trenches” for a reason. Ethereum, on the other hand, is the blockchain network that makes things happen. It is the blockchain for utility, applications, and innovation – and I really don’t know what’s going to happen if it’s exposed to the degeneracy of the Solana meme base and the normies who have no clue how to operate in the current crypto culture.
Is this what they – the billionaires like Michael Saylor who are buying up Bitcoin for funsies while shorting their own actual company – were planning at the Crypto Ball Trump held not too long ago? How they could take billions from the impressionable public with a pump.fun token?
This is not me being pretentious – rather instead calling out an obnoxious grift and scam that does nothing but benefit the Trump family, while making fools of his base and supporters.
And I say this as somebody who actually likes, and has no real problems with the man known as Donald Trump. But, what do you think?
Let me know your thoughts and leave them in the comment section below! And until next time ~
